Brickwork Foundation is a not-for-profit initiative founded in 2008, dedicated to creating meaningful and lasting impact for the underserved. Brickwork Foundation began as a heartfelt effort to give back to society and make a positive difference with initial funding from Mr. Vivek Kulkarni, IAS (Retd.), Ms. Sangeeta Kulkarni, and other generous philanthropists. In 2014, Brickwork Foundation was empaneled as the CSR partner of Brickwork India Pvt. Ltd., a leading Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) firm based in Bangalore. In the initial days, the Foundation worked across areas such as school education, environment, employability, and community development. Over time, it has evolved into a structured organization with a focused approach built around three key verticals, driving lasting social impact and inclusive growth. These 3 verticals address the needs of government schools, public infrastructure and inclusivity. We work mainly in Bangalore and in Bhatkal taluka (North Karnataka).
As a not-for-profit initiative, we work at the crossroads of education, infrastructure, and talent development. Our efforts focus on transforming schools, enhancing civic spaces, and supporting gifted children and youth who face financial constraints.
To create a world where children, youth, and communities thrive in dignified, functional environments that support their growth and potential. Whether it's upgrading classrooms, building STEM labs, supporting young athletes, or nurturing inclusion, every action we take is rooted in real needs, active participation, and a commitment to lasting impact.
